Mission
The Lennox Lewis Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children and their families by inspiring them to become educated, socially responsible, and financially self sufficient to empower their communities to become economically sound and accountable for the welfare and well being of generations to come.
Vision
To affect positive change by instilling the belief that success is achieved through sacrifice, discipline, motivation, dedication to hard work, and belief in oneself.
Foundation Overview & Goals
The foundation aims to raise funds for charities that are impacting the lives of disadvantaged children in Jamaica, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States.
- Entitle every child to have a safe haven for fun social interaction through sports and recreational activities.
- Establish or assist an operating recreational facility that utilizes sports as a vehicle to inspire and achieve greatness.
- The foundation aims to identify and nurture the child's innate physical and mental abilities and develop their self-esteem and confidence through the World of Boxing and the Game of Chess coupled with highlighting education as the main ingredient to achieving success.
- Provide remedial and advance academic support as a fundamental aspect of facilitating intellectual and physical growth.
The organizational partnerships will be established to develop and implement quality programs that support the foundation's vision that every child can achieve success; when given the opportunity and tools necessary to become the successful human being they were intended to be.
